CSME provides an industry leading number of exam taking options to meet every student preference. We have gone beyond the simple paper vs online alternatives and provide a number of additional options. There is sure to be a testing option that suits every student preference.
Available Testing Options:
1. Paper Exams – good old conventional paper that is most typically delivered in a classroom setting after you have completed a training course.
Proctoring options include:
a. CSME Proctor
b. Private Proctor (CSME Private Proctor Agreement required)
c. Instructor Proctored (CSME Instructor Proctor Agreement required)
2. Online exams - using web based technology to securely deliver exams via the Internet to either computer lab machines or personal computers. The same proctoring options are available as well as a global network of testing centers to provide individuals with the option of taking the exam very close to home.
3. Hybrid Exams (Intermediate and Managers Bridge Only) – blending the best of both worlds this exam testing option presents the test questions and answer options online while also providing any supporting scenarios for the exam via paper, printed onsite at the exam center right before the exam is delivered.
